Location: White Oak Family Physicians, P.A. Dr. Robert Scott was born in Bluefield, West Virginia, and grew up in Southwestern Virginia. He pursued undergraduate studies at VPI for one year, and then transferred to Davidson College. He was accepted to Eastern Virginia Medical School after his junior year at Davidson and received his M.D. degree in 1979. Dr. Scott has completed a three year Family Practice Residency at N.C. Baptist Hospital/Bowman Gray School of Medicine. During his third year, Dr. Scott served as Chief Resident in Family Practice. In 1980 Dr. Scott was elected President of the North Carolina Association of Family Practice Residents. He is married to the former Susie Arritt of Roanoke, Virginia. They have two daughters, Mary and Katherine, and reside in Asheboro. |
